Saba and team are great! Fun, open atmosphere with a wonderful sense of humor, yet impeccable knowledge, attention to detail and desire to do what is right for each and every patient! Everyone coming through the door is given a custom assessment as well therapeutic program. Strict attention is given to taking a methodical, effective approach to care. No one is rushed into doing more than they can or should. To the contrary they are making certain you move up only when you are ready to. I was lucky enough to have been referred to Saba and staff by Dr. Samir Sharma shortly after surgery on a shattered wrist. Saba is the best there is and I know I have her to thank for getting back my range of motion, strength and full use of my hand! i would highly recommend anyone with upper extremity issues to see Saba! Hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, upper back, if there is an issue they can help and do it right! Thank you again Saba, I couldn’t have done it without you!

i have been completely satisfied with Hands on Care and Saba. i feel so fortunate that my doctor referred me here as i have learned so much about preventative care to avoid further injury. Saba juggles several people while giving you her complete attention. She is so knowledgeable. i cannot recommend her highly enough.

My experience with Hands on Care was an extremely satisfying experience. I had a tendon that was pretty messed-up; frayed in some areas, almost torn in another. Saba and her staff, especially Roni and Rowena, are wonderful to work with. I was scheduled with both Saba and Roni and they were not only knowledgeable, but great motivators. They were honest in their assessment of what I needed to do to get through my PT sessions. They also provided information on what I can do on my own time (at home) using basic home items to help myself out. (more…)

I began seeing Saba for carpal tunnel-like issues – pain that had extended to my thumb, wrist, forearm and shoulder. I spend a lot of time on the computer and doing intensive work with my hands, and was scared I needed surgery. Saba gave me practical, helpful advice for setting up my work station properly, and adjusting my daily routines so that I will do less damage to my body long-term. She worked diligently on my arms & hands during the weeks I saw her for intensive therapy, and put me on an upper-body strengthening regimen that has changed how I view exercise and taking care of my body. Saba is professional, kind, and made therapy fun. She has a wonderful staff assisting her. I was thrilled to improve, but sad to leave this vibrant office.

I can’t say enough about Saba and her staff. Saba is, professional, straight forward, but has a since of humor. She knows her field well. Saba looks at you and can tell when you can handle the exercises and when you are NOT doing well, making sure, in my case I did not pass out. You can tell that Saba has a passion for her work and wants you well. If the therapy isn’t working she spends time finding out what will give you better results. If you are committed to getting better for hand, shoulder, or elbows I don’t think you could go wrong. (more…)

If you need physiotherapy for a shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand, you could not do better than to choose Hands on Care! Accredited, professional, and capable therapists; caring and individual attention; time taken to listen and craft innovative and effective therapies. If your health, strength and mobility matter to you, choose a capable specialist in physiotherapy rather than any of the “we can do any of that stuff” HMO physiotherapy mills. After sustaining a difficult compound fracture of my elbow, I’m awfully glad I did.

Hands-on-Care is simply the best! My shoulder had very little rotation and after working with Saba– it returned to normal.
There is no one else I would see for upper extremity physical therapy. No one.

I broke my left wrist so I had surgery and a plate was installed.
I had no practical use of my hand, it hurt constantly, and I was out of work for a year.
My doctor said I should get used to the fact that my hand would never be the same again. A life with constant pain? A life without playing the violin? It depressed the hell out of me.
But then I had the good fortune of going to Hands On Care.
After a long and demanding period of therapy, I now have the full use of my hand. Once again I can play music. I can take a shower and button my shirt just as before and with no pain.
My case was a tough one and I strongly believe if I had gone to simply a good therapist instead of a great one, I’d still have no use of my hand, or limited use at best. But Saba happened to be a great therapist. She’s probably the best in Northern California.
She is extraordinarily skilled and professional.
I’m convinced that because I went to her instead of somebody else, I can now use my hand again.

Dr Saba is in a league of her own. There is not much i can say that will relay the feeling of needing a good therapist and actually finding one that exceeds all expectations.
Professional, approachable, caring yet firm at the same time. (more…)

Who would have thought I’d be happy to pay money in order to experience pain? I must be a masochist. All joking aside, I can highly recomend Hands On Care for your shoulder, elbow and hand therapy. Saba Kamal is an exceptionally talented therapist. After my nasty moutain bike accident, she had me back in the saddle again within a few short weeks. This was all the more remarkable considering I had virtually zero motion in my elbow and wrist three weeks ago. She’ll bend parts of your body into positions that will make a grown man cry… but thankfully she does know when to stop. Her little evil grins while telling you to “relax” always had me cracking up in laughter. When it comes to physio, she was the best of both worlds… approachable but firm.
The previous reviewer baked Saba a cake. Unfortunately, I have no baking skills, so she will just have to make do with my four star rating and this last little comment …
(I lied about the bike… I had the resistance set to level 8 – not level 4)
