David Yoo grew up in Los Angeles and has a BA in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara. He received his MS in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State. After graduating from undergrad, he lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 2 years where he worked in AmeriCorps. After that, he moved here to the Bay Area and has been here ever since. He lives here in San Jose with his wife and two shiba inus. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports (Go Dodgers!), traveling, going to the local brewery, going to the beach, and spending time with family. 
David always knew he wanted to be a hand therapist, especially after completing ahand therapy fieldwork rotation during school at Stanford Hand & Upper Extremity Clinic. He especially looks forward to building relationships with his patients and continuing to treat more upper extremity conditions. He is currently working towards obtaining advanced certification as a Certified Hand Therapist.
